Propelling to new depths

With years of experience in producing high-quality thrusters, with the production facilities and team setup in China we are excited to announce the launch of
NOR Robotics.

Our mission is to revolutionize the global professional ROV and subsea market by introducing an innovative fleet of advanced thrusters and products that are cost efficient, smart designed with a little touch of the Norwegian mind.

Nor Robotics, are committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency for our clients in the subsea industry.

The marked

Underwater drones are an invaluable technology in the future vision for the Norwegian continental shelf. Successful autonomous subsea inspections have already been conducted, and the Defense uses similar technology to inspect and monitor underwater fibers on the Norwegian continental shelf. There is no doubt that underwater drones will be part of everyday subsea operations in the years to come.

The Thruster in brief

  • Most compact thruster on the market compared size/power ratio.

  • Pressure tested to 600 meters .

  • Used by offshore service providers.

  • Targeting massive and growing markets such as wind, oil & gas and fish farming markets

Smart Communication solution

Together with customers and the manufacturer we are currently developing, a completely new way to communicate with the thrusters through the new motor controller. The operators of the ROV vessel will then have all the information about the status of each thruster, such as temperature, RPM, rotation, temperature, and alarms that can be set up in the system

Future
technologies

This is a new era to the subsea industry, and we are confident that we can provide a high-end thruster with a well-balanced voltage from 48V-96V  on the marked with max performance and the only thruster on the global marked that are fully flooded and can be used on 48V-96V

Production steps

The company plans to produce and develop products in three stages.

Stage One P1000: We will manufacture the P1000 Thruster at the same facility used by Thrustme. This choice ensures fast production timelines and leverages the strong, established relationship between our management team and the factory. This facility in China has been manufacturing products for us since 2017, giving us a solid foundation of experience and trust.

Stage Two NR-48: Our next thruster model will also be developed and manufactured at this same facility in China. This approach will enable rapid development and minimize potential disruptions during the initial production phases.

Stage Three NR-96 : The long-term goal is to shift most of the production to Europe. This move aligns with global political shifts and underscores our commitment to diversifying production locations to enhance stability and resilience.
